Who ended Micah Demskiy’s life?

Micah Gabriel Demskiy of Antelope, Sacramento County, California, United States has died. He was 1.

Demskiy was Andrey Demskiy and Angelina Vinnikova‘s son. They are of Russian descent.

Aside from Antelope, Andrey has lived in other parts of California including Sacramento. He attended Antelope High School in Antelope and American River College in Sacramento.

On December 4, 2021, Andrey and Vinnikova started dating and on August 4, 2022, they got married. In March 2024, he turned 28.

At around 4:00 a.m. on December 20, 2024, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office deputies went to Andrey and Vinnikova’s house along Versailles Way and Lamure Court in Antelope for a domestic disturbance between the couple. He allegedly assaulted her and her mother.

After the assault, Vinnikova and her mother fled. Both Andrey and Micah were left inside the residence.

While inside the residence, Andrey refused to let the deputies enter. They learned that he had thrown Micah so they decided to forcibly enter the residence where they had a physical struggle with Andrey.

After detaining Andrey, the deputies found Micah dead inside a bedroom. The baby’s head had been severed.

Andrey allegedly used a knife to behead his son. The suspect was booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail in Sacramento where he is being held without bail.

On December 24, 2024, Andrey will appear in court. He was charged with murder, corporal injury to a spouse and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.
