Oliva Culpo

Olivia Frances Culpo is the first and still the only Miss USA from Rhode Island, United States and is the eighth Miss Universe from the U.S. She is of Italian and Irish descent.

Born in Cranston, Rhode Island to Peter Culpo and Susan Culpo, Olivia has two older siblings and two younger siblings. Olivia is an alumna of the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina, USA.

In 2008, Olivia started modeling after designer Andrea Valentini started taking photographs of her for her website. They were neighbors in Rhode Island.

On September 18, 2011, Olivia won Miss Rhode Island USA 2012. At the time, she was a sophomore at Boston University in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

On June 3, 2012, Olivia represented Rhode Island at Miss USA 2012, competed against 50 other candidates at The AXIS in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA and won the title. On December 19, 2012, she represented the U.S. at Miss Universe 2012, competed against 88 other candidates at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas and won the title.

Christian McCaffrey

Christian McCaffrey is an alumnus of Valor Christian High School in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA and Stanford University in Stanford, California, USA. He was born in Castle Rock, Colorado to Ed McCaffrey and Lisa McCaffrey.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA, the Carolina Panthers selected Christian eighth overall during the 82nd annual meeting of the National Football League franchises. On May 4, 2017, the team signed him to a four-year, $17.2 million contract with a signing bonus of $10.7 million.

In 2019, Christian and Olivia started dating. On April 16, 2020, he became the highest paid running back in NFL history after he signed a four-year, $64 million contract extension with the Carolina Panthers through the 2025 season.

On October 20, 2022, Christian was traded to the San Francisco 49ers, which is based in Santa Clara, California. On April 7, 2023, he and Olivia announced their engagement.

On June 7, 2024, Christian turned 28. On June 29, 2024, he and Olivia got married in Watch Hill, Rhode Island.

On March 10, 2025, Olivia announced she was expecting her first child with Christian. On May 8, 2025, she will turn 33.
