Brittany Fortinberry

Brittany Marie Fortinberry, 31, of Martinsville, Washington Township, Morgan County, Indiana, United States is a former math teacher. She is a former resident of Bowdon, Georgia, USA and Great Lakes, Illinois, USA.

Aside from Martinsville, Fortinberry has lived in other parts of Indiana including Franklin, Greenwood and Indianapolis. She has lived in different parts of South Carolina, USA including Chappells, Greenwood, Lexington and Ninety Six and different parts of Virginia, USA including Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.

Fortinberry and her husband Nicholas Matthew Fortinberry, 36, have four sons together. They have a stripper pole in their residence in Martinsville.

Eminence High School

On October 24, 2023, the Metropolitan School District of Martinsville hired Brittany as a substitute teacher. On January 9, 2024, she resigned.

From July 10, 2024 to August 23, 2024, Brittany was employed as a middle school math teacher at Eminence Community Schools in Eminence, Adams Township, Morgan County. While teaching at Eminence High School in Eminence, she allegedly abused at least 10 underage boys who were her students.

Some of the boys were 13 years old at the time of the alleged abuses. In several occasions, Brittany allegedly asked a middle school boy, then 13, and his friends to go to her residence in Martinsville and had sex with them there.

According to one of the accusers, Brittany spent $600 on a group of underage boys for various items. Afterwards, she allegedly forced them to wear Ghostface masks from the “Scream” film franchise and have sex with her.

Some of the boys refused but were allegedly forced to watch those who engaged in sexual activity with Brittany. According to a student, she also paid teen boys between $100 and $800 for photos of their genitals.

Bond for Brittany was increased from $20,000 to $150,000. She was charged with sexual misconduct with a minor, dissemination of matter harmful to minors, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, three counts of sexual misconduct, five counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, eight counts of dissemination of matter harmful to a minor and 10 counts of child molestation.

Nicholas, who was allegedly aware of the abuses, was arrested and charged with intimidation and failure to report. He is accused of threatening to slaughter one of the boys in front of Brittany if he came forward.
