Quishantely “Shanty” Leito, 22, will represent Curacao at Miss Supranational 2025. It is the 16th edition of the international beauty pageant based in Poland.
Quisantely Leito
Leito is an entrepreneur and a social worker from Willemstad, Curacao. She is also a resident of Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands.
When Leito was a teenager, she represented the Netherlands in an international beauty pageant and won. From July 2012 to July 2019, she attended Thorbecke Voortgezet Onderwijs in Rotterdam.
On August 31, 2019, Leito won Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2018 at Studio 21 in Hilversum, North Holland, Netherlands. On August 10, 2019, she represented the Netherlands at Miss Teen Universe 2019 and won.
The coronation ceremony was held at Salon Azaria Cayala in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Leito competed against 25 other candidates including Maria K. Vilches of Cuba, who was the first runner-up.
Miss Supranational 2025
From August 2020 to July 2024, Leito attended the Inholland University of Applied Sciences in the Hague, Netherlands where she earned her bachelor’s degree in social work. On February 24, 2025, she was officially appointed Miss Supranational Curacao 2025.
On June 27, 2025, Leito will represent Curacao at Miss Supranational 2025 in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland. She will compete against 70 other candidates including Josephine Onderdonck, 23, of the Netherlands.
On August 30, 2019, Leito crowned Onderdonck as Miss Teen of the Netherlands 2019. The latter was not able to represent the Netherlands at Miss Teenager Universe 2020 amid the new coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
The reigning Miss Supranational 2024 is Harashta Haifa Zahra of Indonesia. On March 3, 2025, she visited Curacao where she met Leito.
Guatemala will be represented at Miss Supranational 2025 by Tokyo Cristina Gonzalo, 21. Among Leito’s fellow Caribbean candidates are Tracey Campbell, 19, of the Cayman Islands, Karibel Pérez, 28, of the Dominican Republic, Sklouchere Pierre, 25, of Haiti, Sara-Dee Palmer, 29, of Jamaica, and Valerie Klepadlo, 24, of Puerto Rico.
