More than 70 women will compete for the Miss Supranational 2025 title. Among them are Nao Kawada, 25, of Tokyo, Japan and Firsta Yufi Amarta Putri, 24, of Banyuwangi, East Java, Indonesia.
Nao Kawada
Kawada is a graphic designer, an information technology professional and a beauty pageant veteran. When she competed against 17 other Miss Supranational Japan 2022 candidates at the Kanda Myojin Hall in Tokyo on September 24, 2022, she was third runner-up to Mayuko Hanawa.
When Kawada competed against nine other Nippon Bijin 2022 candidates at the Rose Room of Keisei Hotel Miramare in Chūō-ku, Chiba, Japan on August 24, 2022, she ranked fourth and was named the second runner-up. On September 30, 2023, she competed against 10 other Nippon Bijin 2023 candidates at Mihama Bunka Hall in Chiba, ranked second and was crowned The Miss Globe Japan 2023.
On November 17, 2023, Kawada represented Japan at The Miss Globe 2023 at the Ramazan Njala Sports Palace in Durrës, Albania where she competed against 50 other candidates. She was unplaced.
Firsta Yufi
On May 2, 2025, Kawada went to the Plenary Hall of Jakarta International Convention Center in Jakarta, Indonesia for the Puteri Indonesia 2025 coronation ceremony. Yufi won the title, besting 44 other candidates.
As Puteri Indonesia 2025, Yufi was appointed Miss Supranational Indonesia 2025. The reigning Miss Supranational 2024 is her fellow Indonesian beauty queen Harashta Haifa Zahra.
On June 27, 2025, Zahra will go back to Nowy Sacz to crown her successor. Among Kawada and Yufi’s fellow Asian candidates are Chandara Chhum, 26, of Cambodia, Ayushree Malik, 20, of India, Ekaterina Zabolotnova, 29, of Kyrgyzstan, Eshwin Kaur, 24, of Malaysia, Lin Cherry Moe, 23, of Myanmar, Dikshya Awasthi, 23, of Nepal, Tarah Valencia, 23, of the Philippines, Michelle Behrmann, 31, of Thailand and Võ Cao Kỳ Duyên, 20, of Vietnam.
