Finland will be represented in the 16th edition of Miss Supranational by Venla Laois, 19. She is a figure skater and a model who recently graduated from senior high school.

Venla Laois

Hailing from Järvenpää, Uusimaa, Finland, Laois speaks Finnish and English. She is 5’10” tall.

On May 15, 2024, Laois competed against 11 other Miss Supranational Finland 2024 candidates at the Astoria Hall in Helsinki, Finland. She was runner-up to Aleksandra Hannusaari of Kauhajoki, Finland.

Hannusaari was 20 years old when she represented Finland at Miss Supranational 2024 on July 6, 2024. She competed against 67 other candidates at the Strzelecki Park Amphitheater in Nowy Sącz, Małopolska, Poland and finished in the Top 12.

On May 16, 2025, Laois competed against 13 other Miss Supranational Finland 2025 candidates at the Balderin Sali in Helsinki and won the title. On May 31, 2025, she graduated from Järvenpää Senior High School in Järvenpää.

Miss Supranational 2025

On June 27, 2025, Laois will represent Finland at Miss Supranational 2025 in Nowy Sacz. She will compete against 71 other candidates including her fellow teenagers Tracey Campbell, 19, of the Cayman Islands, Laura Aleksa, 19, of Croatia and Yu Hyeon Jeong, 19, of South Korea.

Laois will be the 12th beauty queen to represent Finland in Miss Supranational. The first one is Johanna Ahlbäck.

On August 28, 2010, Ahlbäck represented Finland at Miss Supranational 2010 and competed against 65 other candidates at the Plock Amphitheater in Plock, Poland. She finished in the Top 20.

Finland represented in Miss Supranational in 2011 by Pia Orava, in 2013 by Asal Bargh, in 2014 by Irina Nefedova, in 2017 by Erika Helin, in 2018 by Eveliina Tikka, in 2019 by Viivi Altonen, in 2021 by Vilma Halme, in 2022 by Jana Boricheva and in 2023 by Linda Heinonen. They were all unplaced.
