Kyrgyz beauty pageant veteran Ekaterina Zabolotnova (Екатерина Заболотнова), 29, will participate in the 16th edition of Miss Supranational in Poland. She is an eco-friendly fashion designer with a degree in sewing and manufacturing of outerwear.
This is not the first time Zabolotnova is representing Kyrgyzstan in an international beauty pageant. She represented her home country in Miss World in 2019, Miss Earth in 2021 and Miss Cosmo in 2024.
Originally from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, Zabolotnova was Miss Kyrgyzstan 2012 fourth runner-up and Miss Kyrgyzstan 2016 first runner-up. She is currently based in South Korea.
From Miss World 2019 to Miss Earth 2021
On November 27, 2019, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss World Kyrgyzstan 2019. On December 14, 2019, Zabolotnova competed against 110 other Miss World 2019 candidates at the ExCeL London in London, England, U.K.
On October 28, 2021, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss Earth Kyrgyzstan 2021. On November 21, 2021, she competed against 79 other Miss Earth 2021 candidates in a virtual coronation ceremony.
In both competitions, Zabolotnova was unplaced. Her participations marked the seventh time Kyrgyzstan was represented in Miss World and the third time the country was represented in Miss Earth.
From Miss Cosmo 2024 to Miss Supranational 2025
The inaugural edition of Miss Cosmo was held at the Saigon Riverside Park in Ho Chi Minh City on October 5, 2024. Zabolotnova was appointed as Kyrgyzstan’s representative.
A total of 56 women competed for the title. Zabolotnova was unplaced.
On May 28, 2025, Zabolotnova was appointed Miss Supranational Kyrgyzstan 2025. On June 27, 2025, she will represent Kyrgyzstan at Miss Supranational 2025 in Nowy Sacz, Malopolska, Poland.
More than 70 women will compete for the title. Among Zabolotnova’s fellow Asian candidates are Chandara Chhum, 26, of Cambodia, Ayushee Malik, 20, India, Firsta Yufi, 24, of Indonesia, Nao Kawada, 25, of Japan, Eshwin Kaur, 28, of Malaysia, Lin Cherry Moe, 23, of Myanmar, Dikshya Awasthi, 23, of Nepal, Tarah Valencia, 23, of the Philippines, Yu Hyeon-jeong, 19, of South Korea, Michelle Behrmann, 31, of Thailand and Võ Cao Kỳ Duyên, 20, of Vietnam.
