Miss Universe 1964 Kyriaki Tsopei (Κυριακή Τσοπέη) of Athens, Greece was 21 years old when she crowned her successor at the Miami Beach Auditorium in Miami Beach, Florida, United States on July 24, 1965. It is the 14th edition of the international beauty pageant.
Tsopei is the first ever Miss Universe from Greece. She was crowned in Miami on August 1, 1964.
Runner-up to Tsopei was Brenda Blackler of England. The respective second, third and fourth runners-up were Ronit Rinat of Israel, Siv Märta Åberg of Sweden and Lana Yu Yi of the Republic of China.
